نسیم توسعه به نقل از ایسنا:  فرهاد رهبر از ریاست دانشگاه آزاداسلامی برکنار و محمد طهرانچی سرپرست دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی شد.

رضا همدانچی مدیرکل روابط عمومی دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی، ضمن تایید این خبر گفت: محمدمهدی طهرانچی سرپرست دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی شد.

این تصمیم صبح امروز در جلسه هیئت امنای دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی اتخاذ شد.

دکتر طهرانچی که در پرونده کاری خود ریاست دانشگاه شهید بهشتی، معاونت علمی آستان قدس رضوی، معاونت پژوهش‌های علم و فناوری مرکز تحقیقات استراتژیک مجمع تشخیص مصلحت نظام، ریاست مرکز نشر دانشگاهی و … را دارد در اوایل تابستان سال گذشته علاوه بر عضویت در هیات امنای دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی، ریاست دانشگاه‌های آزاد اسلامی استان تهران را عهده‌دار شد.

دکتر طهرانچی که یکی از دانشمندان فیزیک حال حاضر کشور است، استاد تمام دانشگاه شهید بهشتی بوده و از سال ۱۳۸۵ تاکنون به عنوان استاد فیزیک در این دانشگاه مشغول به تدریس و تحقیق است.

وی استاد نمونه کشوری در سال ۱۳۹۱ با اچ ایندکس ۱۴ و دارای ۸۷ مقاله با نمایه بین المللی و ۱۳۵ ارائه در کنفرانس های معتبر علمی بین‌المللی و ملی و دارای ۱۷ طرح ملی پژوهشی است.

وی علاوه بر آنکه دارای پتنت بین‌المللی است، همچنین رئیس کمیسیون علوم پایه شورای عالی عتف و صاحب نظر در حوزه سیاستگذاری و برنامه ریزی آموزش عالی است.
